Platform includes vast network and features to enable users to make more strategic connections and win more bids
May 19, 2016
ConstructConnect, the recently formed construction data company that includes four legacy brands: iSqFt, Construction Market Data, BidClerk and Construction Data today introduced ConstructConnect Insight. The new offering showcases the power of all four brands by integrating CMD’s strong analytic tools with the combined legacy companies’ vast network of registered users.
The solution is highlighted by Buyer Activity Reports that allows manufacturers to proactively identify a vast number of potential contractors likely to bid on projects, and Project Share, which allows contractors to share free, instant project information with partners. Those attending the American Institute of Architects’ (AIA) Convention on May 19-21 in Philadelphia will have the first opportunity to experience the product at ConstructConnect’s booth (#3239).
“On top of an unmatched level of project information sitting on top of powerful analytic tools ConstructConnect Insight now provides customers with unique value-added features to enable them to connect with other professionals in order to complete construction jobs better and faster,” said Jennifer Johnson, ConstructConnect senior vice president of product development. “Delivering on our promise of offering an unmatched network of complete connectivity within the pre-construction industry, these new features allow users to easily connect, share and win new contracts. There is no other solution in the marketplace that is able to offer this level of market intelligence.”
Buyer Activity Reports provide actionable information about trade-specific contractors who are most likely to bid on a specific project based on their unique activity within ConstructConnect’s vast network. The report also allows manufacturers to perform quick searches in order to match priority projects with company products and then qualify a contractor’s interest based on their level of activity.
Project Share is designed to allow users to promote products and build relationships with a network of subcontractors, independent representatives or distributors by offering relevant information needed to bid. Additionally, the feature allows users to share drawings and specifications, project information and details concerning which general contractors are likely to bid on a project.
In addition to participating in a demo of ConstructConnect Insight, AIA attendees are encouraged to stop by ConstructConnect’s booth to pick up the latest white paper from Alex Carrick, the company’s chief economist. The white paper, titled “Does the Construction Industry Still Need Architectural and Engineering Services?,” highlights the present and projected health of architectural and engineering services in the construction industry.
